The goal of the King Arts Complex’s three-day Kwanzaa Winter Youth Academy is to teach kids about the holiday through art.
And so on Wednesday, the first day of the week-long African-American holiday, that’s precisely what about a dozen children from 5 to 13 years old were doing.
