Black Arts Movement summer camp is a 6-week, all-virtual program.

This summer’s theme is 5 Elements of Hip-Hop.

With the incorporation of the elements of Hip Hop; MCing (oral), Turntablism or DJing (aural), B-boying (physical), Graffiti art (visual) and Knowledge of self, youth participants, also known as King’s Kids, ages 5-13, will be exposed to the artist, works and mediums of this era and explore the impacts of Hip Hop to this day. In addition to these various art forms, youth will also engage in yoga, dance, visual art and so much more.

Programming Dates: June 15th- July 24th, Monday- Friday

Registration fee: $25 for each child. Each registered child will receive a tablet for online programming. We can also provide assistance with WIFI if needed.

Scholarships: We have limited scholarships available that are household income-based, and benefits based. (If you need financial assistance, continue to register and purchase registration fee of $25 per child. We will follow up via email with the next steps once you’ve registered )

Programming Fee- $400 Flat rate or $70 per week

Program time for Ages 5-8 is from 10 am-1:00 pm

Program time for Ages 9-13 is from 12 pm- 3:00 pm
