The King Arts Complex proudly announces the 17th Annual Legends & Legacies, a signature celebration recognizing African American pioneers whose work has transformed media, culture, civic leadership, and social progress. This year’s event pays tribute to the powerful legacy and enduring influence of Columbus Black Journalists—professionals who have shaped the narrative of our communities for generations.
In 2025, Legends & Legacies will honor five exceptional journalists for their groundbreaking achievements and lasting impact:
- Ann B. Walker (posthumously)
- Angela Pace
- Dana Tyler
- Jerry Revish
- Mike Jackson (posthumously)
Join us on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at The Fives Columbus for an evening of recognition, storytelling, and celebration. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the program beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.
A highlight of the evening will be a special Fireside Chat, moderated by former Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman, offering insight into the contributions, challenges, and achievements of these esteemed honorees.
