DESCRIPTION:Spring Academy runs throughout the Columbus City Schools spring recess\, April 13th through the 17th from 9 am-4 pm. This year’s theme is “Going Green.” \nSpring is the time for rebirth\, rejuvenation\, and renewal. We’ll serve youth\, ages 5-13 and plan to teach them about gardening and all its benefits. Tentative sessions will include planting and harvesting seeds\, healthy cooking\, science demos\, and the use of recyclable and organic materials to create unique art projects. SUMMARY:35th Annual Lord's Supper Pageant - Tabernacle Baptist Church - CANCELLED
DESCRIPTION:Easter 1985 witnessed the inaugural performance of the Lord’s Supper Pageant. This stirring spirit-filled musical drama portrays the biblical stores of Jesus and reveals the true passion of Christ’s death and resurrection. The pageant is an annual ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church lead by Pastor Verlin F. Samples\, Jr. For 24 years\, the sanctuary had been transformed into a dramatic worship experience that attracts visitors from all over the United States. In 2011 and 2012\, the drama was celebrated at the Historic Southern Theatre in downtown Columbus\, This year will mark the third consecutive year of the pageant at The King Arts Complex.
