DESCRIPTION:Black-Jewish Reconciliation: (Re)Building The Bridge is a Ford Foundation supported national lecture tour on the history of the Black-Jewish Alliance and its relevance today. \nThe 90 minute event consists of brief presentations by the speakers\, a moderated dialogue\, and a Q&A with the audience. \nEach lecture features Avi Dresner\, son of Rabbi Israel Dresner\, the most arrested and jailed rabbi during the Civil Rights Movement\, in dialogue with local African American leaders\, academics\, activists and event attendees. \nAvi will be speaking with Bexley Police Chief\, Gary D.
