“The Holiday Jazz Celebration” is the concert that is back by popular demand! Tis the season to enjoy the ‘Holiday spirit” with Columbus’ favorites Jeanette Williams, Mary McClendon and Dolly King. These Jazz greats will bring a vibrant, festive collection of jazzy Holiday songs. They will perform other familiar classic tunes infused with cool syncopation, funky riffs and smooth, stylish tones, from dynamic to nostalgic. Joining our vocalists are Melvin Stewart on bass, Vernon Hairston on keys and Jerry Powell on drums. We will “Light up the Night” in Mayme Moore Park to begin the holiday season.
