African American Creative Genius: Inventions with Impact

America is known throughout the world for the creative genius of its people.  This exhibition highlights contributions by the genius of African American inventors whose contributions led to the shaping of the industrisal revolution.  Their inventions are used every day from the ironing board to the computer, cell phone to the super soaker.  African Americans patented many inventions while overcoming poverty, lack of education and racial prejudice.
